The result of a balanced blend, always the same year after year, "R de Ruinart" is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes with a small addition, about 3%, of Meunier. In blending, about 25% of reserve wines, stored in the cellar from previous harvests, are generally added to the vintage wines. This makes the final cuvée richer and more complex, resulting in a particularly pleasant Champagne, balanced in its components but above all fine. In the glass it is a beautiful bright straw yellow colour On the nose, notes of white-fleshed fruits, apricot, citrus and a light roast. To make the aromatic framework of this Champagne even more complex, the classic notes of brioche and pastries run side by side.
